Walking further in, you will encounter alien flora like the Fiddlehead and Scorpion Thistle. These complement the existing plants at the dome.

But it is not just unusual plants that will be showcased at the experience. As you journey through Avatar: The Experience at Gardens by the Bay’s Cloud Forest dome, you will also come across fauna like tree dwelling prolemuris and the predatory viperwolf. These act as photo spots around the dome.

One of the interact spots is a series of booths where you can “avatarize” yourself. It will capture an image and create an avatar version of yourself. Scan a QR code to take the unique avatar-self home.

For a dose of Pandora culture, there is hut where you can participate in a Na’vi ritual. Or you can try comparing your height to the much-taller Na’vi people too.

At the Crystal Mountain section, the wonders of Pandora and the Hallelujah Mountains comes to life as you come across a Mountain Banshee. You’ll definitely want to take a picture with the banshee. If you are there are the right time, you may even come across a much smaller, baby banshee. There are also stations where you can try to fly a banshee on a screen.

Another highlight of Avatar: The Experience is the chance to get a first look at the new fantastical Ilu creature from the upcoming film Avatar: The Way of Water.

The last zone of the experience brings out the magic of the world that James Cameron has created with an interactive multimedia installation and display.

Avatar: The Experience at Gardens by the Bay Cloud Forest is most definitely something not to be missed. It will go hand-in-hand with the upcoming Avatar sequel, 10 years in the making, which is coming to cinemas in December 2022.
