Teck Whye Gardens is a quiet neighbourhood park, not too far away from the Choa Chu Kang Mini Road Safety Park. The green space, located amongst a series of HDB apartment blocks, is also home to two sets of playgrounds.
Teck Whye Gardens Playgrounds
The Teck Whye Gardens playgrounds can be found towards the higher end of the sloped park.
There are two playground areas – one newer and one older.

The newer playground area features a rope climbing structure that kids can have fun exploring.
Cargo nets and other climbing equipment in the form of tarps with hexagonal cut-outs have been set out around a series of steel arcs to create an interesting climbing dome. It replaces an older tower playground.
There are also three rows of ball-shaped equipment that kids can also climb on another side of the dome.
Kids who scale their way to the top of the dome can head over to a slide that curves down along the side of the dome to the padded playground floor below.
Inside the dome, there are also more play opportunities in the form of a series of green hoops that kids can climb through.
An alternative means to reach the top of the dome also awaits in the form of a stack of green shapes that look like trigonal planar molecules. They provide access to an opening at the top of the dome for kids to get to the slide.
Another interesting piece of equipment is a bright yellow, bell-shaped swing. With a ledge at the bottom and handholds at the top, it can accommodate kids standing on it while it sways back and forth.
This playground area, installed by playground supplier CT Art Creation, is designed for kids between 5 to 12 years old.
Beside this new play area, there is an older playground with a play structure along with more traditional swings that kids can use to catch some air.
