The Singapore Grand Prix 2022 is making its return to our island after a two-year hiatus. With the Grand Prix Season Singapore taking place from 23 September to 2 October 2022, there are a variety of race-themed lifestyle events taking place around Singapore which you can enjoy, even if you haven’t got tickets to the night race.

Things to Do with the Singapore Grand Prix 2022 in Town

There are four precinct parties taking place around Singapore as part of the Grand Prix season 2022.

Head to Orchard Road to shop at an auto-themed flea market at *SCAPE or take part in race-themed challenges at the Heineken Silver Smooooth Pit Stop outside Ngee Ann City. There will also be performances and an exhibition showcasing works of art made from recycled cardboard, including a five-metre long race car.

Clarke Quay is rocking it out with themed parties at the night spots. There will also be race-inspired fashion shows and a race-themed carnival.

Kampong Gelam has daily performances featuring local acts as well as a food carnival. There will also be BMX bike challenges and a F1 roving truck.

Sentosa is hosting its first F1 precinct for the Grand Prix Season Singapore 2022 with music performances at the Central Beach Bazaar, racing simulators and race-inspired film screenings.


McLaren: The Legacy Lives On

Head to Suntec Convention Centre to view the new McLaren Artura, the manufacturer’s first high-performance hybrid supercar. There will also be a collection of McLaren production cars on display too. The three-day exhibition takes place from 30 September to 2 October at Suntec Exhibition Hall 404. It is open from 5 pm to 10 pm on 30 September and 10 am to 10 pm on 1 and 2 October. Admission is free.


LEGO McLaren

A LEGO replica of the McLaren Formula 1 race car will be making its debut at Orchard Road. Visitors can also sit in the car, which took 1,900 hours to build and is made up of 288,000 LEGO bricks. Find this in front of Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza. Get more details here.


Williams Racing Pop-up Experience

The British Formula 1 team Williams Racing will be hosting a pop-up experience at Suntec City with exhibits and activities including exclusive merch. There will also be a meet and greet with drivers Alexandra Albon and Nicholas Latifi. Get more details here.
