Head to KINEX, United Square and Velocity@Novena Square on specific dates from 18 July to 17 August to play at a recycled cardboard playground and participate in craft activities at SG60 Green Playground. This roving exhibition will be at different malls on different dates, starting with Velocity Novena Square from 18 July to 27 July.
Redicover. Reuse. Reimagine Singapore is the special theme for the festivities at UOL Mall to commemorate Singapore’s 60th birthday. Families can rediscover our nation’s identity through the lens of sustainability, creativity and community.

Snakes and Ladders board
Play a game of Snakes and Ladders which traces key national milestones! This can be played with the Grandparents too given how both the board and the dice are larger than life.
Agar Agar Slide
Love Agar Agar? You might like sliding down one slice because the way down will be so smooth!
Peranakan See-Saw
This colourful see-saw is decorated with colourful Peranakan motifs. Even adults weighing below 80 kg can sit on it for a fun time of moving up and down.
Toa Payoh Dragon Playground
Made entirely from cardboard, this spot is perfect for photos and pays tribute to one of our well-loved icons in Toa Payoh.
Other playspots include building HDB blocks with colourful cardboard blocks and playing a memory game uncovering icons of Singapore.

Crafting Area
Traditional checkered tables resembling those found at the void decks of HDB blocks are where families can come together to craft. There is also a photo wall inspired by the MRT map.
On 2 and 3 August (KINEX) and 9 and 10 August (United Square), little ones can join Frame Your Moments by TreeArt and create photo frames from recycled cardboard, or get crafty in Get Creative with Paracord, designing colourful keychains and accessories. Participate in the workshops with a minimum spend of $60 in same-day combined receipts at United Square or KINEX.
Our favourite activity was using nylon cords to knot them into a water bottle or bubble tea cup carrier. It was easy to make, with some assistance from the friendly facilitators and very functional!
Each craft takes about 30 minutes to complete.
