Sentosa Magical Shores is back and will be lighting up Siloso Beach once again, and you can now make a booking to enjoy the free, evening light show.


Interactive Siloso Beach Light Show

The beach light show first opened in January 2020. It is a first-of-its-kind in Singapore, making use of the sands of Sentosa’s Siloso Beach as its “screen”.

There are different projections at Sentosa Magical Shores, including mystical sea creatures that glide along as if underwater. Expect a multi-sensory experience as Siloso beach transforms into an interactive spectacle.

Did you know that Sentosa Magical Shores makes use of sensors to gather information such as wind speed and the movement of people at the beach? These are then used as part of the show in order to make it interactive in real-time?

Sentosa Magical Shores 2021

For 2021, Sentosa Magical Shores will take place on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, eve of Public Holidays and Public Holidays. It restarted on 15 January 2021.

For crowd management purposes, there are two sessions available each evening. The first session is from 7.30 pm to 8.45 pm and the second session is from 9 pm to 10.15 pm.

In order to make a Sentosa Magical Shores booking, you will have to do so online at the Sentosa website. Sentosa Magical Shores bookings can be made for sessions five days in advance at midnight. For example, bookings for 15 January sessions opened on 10 January, midnight or 0000 hours.

On the day of your session to view Sentosa Magical Shores in 2021, head down to the Emerald Pavilion at Siloso Beach and show your email confirmation in order to gain entry to the interactive beach light show.

Take note that in line with Phase 3 regulations, up to eight persons can attend each session.

Another light show in Singapore which has also recently resumed in January 2021 is the Garden Rhapsody at Gardens by the Bay.
