Location of Orchard Parksuites

Shoppers and foodies will love the location of Orchard Parksuites. Not only is it sited very close to Orchard MRT station, there are plenty of retail plus food and beverage options. One can also quickly settle meals as there are no meal services at the serviced residence.

We had plenty of meal options as a family including cafes and restaurants not found in other parts of Singapore. There were also a variety of options: food court, cafes, mid-tier restaurants, food kiosks and more since we were in the heart of Orchard Road.

Accommodation at Orchard Parksuites

Accommodation at Orchard Parksuites

Orchard Parksuites provides a variety of luxurious accommodations of varied sizes. It also welcomes furfriends! We liked how it provides the hospitality of a hotel plus the warmth of home with its cosy and elegantly designed apartments.

Two-bedroom deluxe apartment

Our two-bedroom deluxe apartment had a kitchenette, two bedrooms of which one is ensuite with a bathtub, a dining area, study desks, living room and a play area. This meant every member of the family had their own space and plenty of room for work or play.

As part of the “Your Family Moments” campaign, we received a welcome kit consisting of an activity bag of children, family baking set with matching aprons and baking tools, rainbow stacker game and Playdoh Kitchen Creations. This kept the little hands engaged during the stay with fun and laughter.

Berry and Peary

The adorable mascots Berry and Peary were very prominent in the children’s bedrooms. The strawberry and pear duo were on customised duvet covers, the activity bags and the aprons. Kids could also cuddle the Berry and Peary plushies.

We had a comfortable stay in the well-appointed apartment, and felt like it was a home away from home.

One advice we have for parents is to remind children to be careful with the curtain blinds, they were difficult to adjust and probably not for the children to tamper with. The other minor issues would be that sockets were the traditional three-pin sockets and could be difficult to access for charging of devices, as well as the location of the laundrette in the basement.

Amenities, Facilities & Recreational Options at Orchard Parksuites

Amenities, Facilities & Recreational Options at Orchard Parksuites

The facilities at Orchard Parksuites would probably be the deal-breaker for many families. Apart from the gorgeous pool, there were tennis courts, Sauna & Steam room and a gymnasium.

Piano

We even managed to include piano practice in our schedule by booking a slot for the grand piano in the lobby. Sports and hobbies can still continue should you choose a longer term stay at Orchard Parksuites.

Lounge

The lobby and pool area had plenty of seating for those looking for an alternative place to rest, read or work. The coffee machine with freshly ground coffee beans is available to use on weekdays too.

The range of facilities was impressive and ideal for active families looking for accommodation in town.

Hospitality & Service at Orchard Parksuites

You might think hotels provide much more than serviced apartments in terms of service. However Orchard Parksuites pairs both hospitality and its serviced suites provision very well. We had issues with the stove and could promptly get a temporary induction hob. The Reception was also helpful and followed up with sending a technician to fix the gas stove.

We were also greeted and welcomed warmly whenever we entered or exited the premises. The hospitality team certainly ensured that the needs of guests are met and that any issues would be addressed quite quickly.

Even though Orchard Parksuites is over three decades old, it was a well-maintained building with lovely landscaped greens and clean environment. This showed that the team had spent much effort with its upkeep despite the age of the building.

Family picture

We were pleasantly surprised by the team’s gesture of blessings when we received a birthday cupcake box for my younger son’s birthday, accompanied with a handwritten card and a polaroid picture of the family. Indeed, such family moments would be memories to cherish for a long time.
