Want to have some simple fun while hanging out at One Punggol? There is a new One Punggol Plaza at Level 1 where you can enjoy tabletop games and young kids can also get creative with LEGO bricks.

One Punggol Play Zone

One Punggol Play Zone

One Punggol has plenty to offer families and those living in the neighbourhood. Beside the many activities that are organised during special weekends, movie screenings and the amazing Punggol Regional Library, it has recently introduced a new Play Zone for children, teens, families and just about anyone else who wish to enjoy some simple fun together.

The One Punggol Play Zone is located at the south-east corner of the building, facing towards the junction of Punggol Crescent and Punggol Drive.

It is not a very large area but provides opportunities for residents to get together and enjoy themselves.

LEGO Bins

LEGO Bins

One of the features of the One Punggol Play Zone is LEGO bins. With a variety of LEGO bricks along with some base pads, this is a free play area where kids can get creative and assemble whatever comes to their imagination.

The low yellow counter serves as a space for kids to assemble their creation.

With the bricks freely available, we do hope that the bricks do not get taken away so that everyone can enjoy playing with them while at the One Punggol Play Zone.

Game Tables for Tabletop Games

One Punggol Play Zone

There are also a couple of empty wooden tables that can be found at the Play Zone.

These are intended for those who wish to borrow tabletop games and sit down to play together.

The games can be borrowed from the information counter located close the main stage area.

There are several types of games available, some more suitable for kids and others more suited for adults.

The tabletop game titles that are available when we visited included:

Kids

  • Bananagram: Party Edition
  • Loopin’ Louie
  • Cobra Paw

Teens / Adults

  • Squadrio
  • Chronicles of Crime
  • The Resistance: Avalon
  • Dixit

The games are available for rent, free-of-charge from 9 am to 9 pm, daily. Each game can be rented for a maximum of one hour per person.
