It combines the exhibitions Dinosaurs of Patagonia by Museo Paleontológico Egidio Feruglio and Six Extinctions by Gondwana Studios to take visitors on a journey through 400 million years of Earth’s history, exploring five major mass extinction events focusing on the age of dinosaurs.  

Amongst the jaw-dropping highlights of the exhibition are Patagotitan mayorum spanning 40 metres and a full-scale cast of “Scotty”, the largest Tyrannosaurus rex ever found. The exhibition also special section by LKCNHM spotlighting Singapore’s own biodiversity story.

Families will also enjoy high touch exhibits and hands-on activities like uncovering digital fossils, digging in a sensory pit and going on a stamp rally.

Jurassic World: The Experience at Cloud Forest

Dino-fans and aspiring paleontologists look out! Life-sized animatronic and sculpted dinosaurs have found their home at Cloud Forest, Gardens by the Bay from 29 May. Highlights include the breathtaking majesty of a 8.5 metre-tall Brachiosaurus almost three metres high greeting visitors at the entrance. Encounter a terrifying Tyrannosaurus Rex and come face to face with baby dinosaurs in the Petting Zoo area. Check out the tiny and elusive Composognathus or Compys hidden within the lush garden pathways. Plus go on the Evolution Walk where visitors can venture back to a time before the age of the dinosaurs to learn about ancient plant species that existed long before the emergence of flowering plants. Evolution Walk also features reconstructions of ancient plants that have become extinct in an eye-opening showcase of how plants have evolved.

From 1 to 23 November 2025, the Singapore Oceanarium will shine a light on one of the ocean’s most captivating creatures through Animal Spotlight: Sea Jellies, a three-week event held in conjunction with World Sea Jelly Day on 3 November. Central to the celebration is the 45-minute Behind-the-Scenes Sea Jelly Experience, a guided session that gives visitors an insider’s view of how these ethereal creatures are bred, nurtured, and maintained at the Singapore Oceanarium.

Just steps from the museum’s Front Lawn, the playground’s iconic whale structure was uniquely designed as an ode to the blue whale skeleton that was once displayed in the early origins when NMS was the Natural History Museum. Slide down the mosaic whale’s smiling head, brave the rock walls, and tunnel through hideouts. Older adventurers can go wild scaling ladders, crossing the net bridge, and whizzing down the slide, while younger explorers peek around corners or try out gentle swings. Learn about Singapore’s rich food heritage through hands-on activities at the new maker’s space at Children’s Museum Singapore (CMSG)! From 20 July 2025 until 31 March 2026, PLAY + MAKE is set to transform the Discovery Room at CMSG into a vibrant space that complements CMSG’s existing special exhibition, Into the Hawkerverse. Check out the Maker’s Cabinet display showcasing various items used in crafts such as pottery, basketry (rattan), and tailoring. These include a black pearl durian-inspired dress by Reckless Ericka, shoes inspired by Hokkien Mee and Nasi Lemak made by Tuckshop, and a LEGO Tingkat by Artisan Bricks. There is also a pop-up happening at Woodlands Regional Library from 31 October to 1 November 2025. discover how Singapore’s favourite foods inspire design, creativity, and making in this hands-on exhibition for families. Step into Lost Islands, an immersive arts installation at The Artground at Goodman Arts Centre, taking place from 19 April 2025 to 31 March 2026. This installation for children between the ages of 0 to 9 years old, is presented in collaboration with Indonesian artist Rachmi Dewi Pertama and brings the folklore, myths, and legends of Singapore and Indonesia to life. Lost Islands has multiple experiential, interactive zones inspired by Singapore and Indonesia’s rich folklore. Designed for young explorers, Lost Islands encourages children to climb, explore, and create while discovering cultural heritage through play and imagination.

Opening window of discovery into the wonder and universe of Star Wars, the pop-up space, located on Level 2 of Changi Airport Terminal 3, near the Linkbridge to Jewel and North Skytrain. It operates from 10 am to 10 pm daily from 6 August 2025 to 24 January 2026. 

The collection features stories from one of pop culture’s most enduring franchises, since Star Wars’ origins in 1977, catering to readers of all ages, from young Padawans to Jedi Masters. Game on? Test your Star Wars knowledge through a trivia challenge or take a personality quiz to discover which Jedi you would most resemble, alongside recommended reads.
