
Designed to stimulate the interest of the young and inculcate in them an appreciation of our forests. The one-day camp is a programme by National Parks Board and Mitsubishi Corporation, which aims to develop and increase a child’s appreciation for nature and our natural heritage.
The camp encompasses fun, educational learning opportunities in a forest environment. There will be nature walks, games with nature themes, indoor learning opportunities together with hands-on activities that children can participate in and enjoy. It also aims to nurture young minds in active protection and conservation of our natural heritage.
Target Level: Primary 1 to 5
Date: 14 June 2017 (Wednesday)
Time: 9 am – 5 pm (registration begins at 8:30am, parents to pick their children up at 5pm)
Cost*: $25 per child (include halal lunch, afternoon tea-break and all craft materials) (*Charges subsidized by Mitsubishi Corporation)
Venue: Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
Group Size: Maximum of 25 children
Note: An email with details on the camp and directions will be sent around one week prior to the event.
Online registration with payment opens on 08 May, and closes 26 May or when camp is full.
