
Your children can now enjoy storytelling sessions from the comfort and safety of home with National Library Board weekly storytelling sessions for children in Singapore’s four official languages – English, Malay, Chinese and Tamil. Each NLB storytelling sessions online will last for between 5 to 15 minutes long. It will be hosted by librarians, volunteers and local authors.
The English language NLB online storytelling sessions are intended for children from 4 to 10 years old. The storytelling sessions for the three other languages are for 4 to 8 years olds. The various sessions will be conducted place on the respective language’s Facebook pages and groups.
NLB Storytelling Sessions Times
You can catch the English storytelling sessions on 17 April at 6.30 pm. From 20 April onwards, there will be NLB online storytelling sessions from Monday to Friday at 6.30 pm.
The Chinese storytelling sessions will be held every Monday and Friday at 7.30 pm.

The Malay storytelling sessions will be held every Tuesday, 8pm, and Saturday at 11.30 am.
The Tamil storytelling sessions will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7pm.

The NLB online storytelling sessions will extend beyond the circuit breaker period with the NLB will review the frequency after the libraries reopen.
Currently, the libraries around Singapore are closed till 4 May 2020 as part of the circuit breaker measures that are in place nationwide.
