Imagine enjoying a flaky, sugar-dusted and cream-filled croissant baked in the shape of a muffin…what you’re imagining is a delicious hybrid pastry, the cruffin! Come June 2021, San Francisco-based bakery Mr. Holmes Bakehouse will be opening its first Southeast Asia flagship store at Pacific Plaza.
Many will be able to empathize with how difficult it has been for businesses around the world, and its latest flagship here in Singapore the only remaining storefront for fans to cop these world-renowned cruffins.
Mr. Holmes Bakehouse’s Bakes
The opening menu for Mr. Holmes Bakehouse’s upcoming store is set to feature a selection of bakes which include all types of doughnuts, croissants and the, of course, cruffins that put them on the global map. They are known and loved for their playful and creative approach to their bakes and the menu has sighted products from churro croissants to strawberry jalapeño bear claws. They have a quarterly seasonal menu to bring new bakes to the fans to enjoy each time. There will also be drinks such as coffee, tea and kombucha being served.
Instagrammable Store Front at Mr. Holmes Bakehouse
Their storefront is also expected to be quite the sight with it being a 41-seater bakery-café designed with a signature colour scheme of white and pink. It will also have their iconic “I got baked” and peace neon sign for photo-worthy backdrops. Customers can expect to enjoy an open-seating space flanked with white-tiled walls and an all-pink ceiling as they dine in this pastry wonderland.
