Miss travelling to Japan? While waiting for its borders to open up, you can head down to the KINOKUNIYA supermarket pop-up store which is opening on 13 May 2022 at Isetan Scotts.
Not to be confused with the bookshop, KINOKUNIYA is a 112 year old supermarket brand with 34 outlets in the Tokyo area at shopping malls and department stores.
KINOKUNIYA Supermarket Pop-up Store at Isetan Scotts
For the KINOKUNIYA pop-up at Isetan Scotts, the brand will be showcasing about 180 products of which around 150 are brand new items appearing in Singapore for the first time. The pop-up will be around for three month.
Some of the items that will be on sale at the pop up store include:
- Cheesecake Flavoured Rusk, a light rusk baked with cheesecake featuring Edam and Parmesan cheese ($10.90 each).
- Barbecued Meat Sauce made with Shinshu apples and Japanese pears in a soy sauce base ($13.90).
- Premium Truffle Soy Sauce, a blend of white olive oil, French black truffles and Japanese soy sauce ($21.90).
- Strawberry Butter Jam, a bestselling jam made from Amaou strawberries from Fukuoka Prefecture ($14.90).
Shoppers can also get a free foldable eco-bag with the KINOKUNIYA logo with any purchase, while stocks last.
The KINOKUNIYA Pop-Up Series in Singapore will be held at the Isetan Scotts, basement supermarket (back of the produce section), from May 13 to August 4 2022.
