Leading up to Mother’s Day, Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF) will be holding the Healthy Mummy, Healthy Family Symposium 2017 on Saturday, 6 May as part of its Go Red for Women (GRFW) campaign. GRFW aims to empower women with the knowledge and tools that can help reduce their risk of cardiovascular disease. Guest of Honour Madam Halimah Yacob, Speaker of Parliament and MP for Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC, will be gracing the event.
At the symposium, participants can look forward to two informative talks – by a cardiologist and a dietitian, followed by a special hands-on Hearty Bento Workshop, led by Singapore’s top bento artist, Ms Shirley Wong. Participants may choose to attend just the talks or attend both talks and the Hearty Bento Workshop (prices defer).
