Gru and the Minions from Despicable Me have a message to share with everyone on how to keep safe and healthy during the COVID-19 crisis. The new Public Service Message (PSA) is focused on reinforcing lifestyle behaviours which everyone should adopt during these times.
Gru and Minions’ Public Service Message
The newly launched PSA is a partnership between the World Health Organization, the United Nations Foundation and Illumination, the Hollywood Student behind the Despicable Me franchise.
Gru is voiced by Steve Carrell, the Academy Award and Emmy Award nominee who voices the character in the franchise.
In the PSA, Gru shares with on the importance of physical distancing, remaining active while at home and the need to be kind to one another.
