Hidden away in a small L-shaped alcove on the fourth floor of the shopping mall is the Bukit Panjang Plaza Playground. The outdoor rooftop playground offers a simple play spot for little ones and is intended for children between the ages of one to six years old.
Simple Play for Little Ones
The main play structure at the Bukit Panjang Plaza Playground consists of a miniature obstacle-and-ropes course.
A blue and green blockish structure acts as the main departure point. After climbing up the little tower, kids can make their way along rope nets leading out from either side of the structure to the next platform.
A set of low monkey bars also provides an additional challenge for more daring kids.

At the top of the blue-and-green “tower”, there is a “megaphone” for kids who want to play-pretend as referee. A pair of binoculars also allow kids look out at others making their way through the course.
Other than this main play structure, Bukit Panjang Plaza playground also a “Toddler Allotment House”. Young children can duck into this green, yellow, red and blue play house and pretend to “masak masak”.
Two other sets of simple play equipment complete the playground.
Play & Stay is a low structure designed for kids between the ages of 1 to 4 years old.
Talk & Tumble With Net is also designed for kids between the ages of 1 to 4. This simple play equipment features a low slingshot-shaped swing that kids can sway back and forth on. It also has miniature climbing net for very young kids who may not yet be ready to take on the rope nets at the main play structure.
Bukit Panjang Plaza Playground
Bukit Panjang Plaza Playground is open from 10 am to 9 pm daily. It is located next to the Rooftop Plaza and can be accessed via the escalator at the Kampong by Kopitiam Food Court.
