Wondering what is going on this weekend? Here is a selection of family-friendly events taking place on 13 & 14 February.

1. Seeker’s Trail Family Games Day
Sat 14 Feb, 4 pm to 7 pm
Pasir Ris Park

Embark on a treasure hunt in a massive outdoor adventure at the Seeker’s Trail Family Games Day. Specially for children aged five to nine years old and their parents. Organised by SEEK (Stop the Eye Epidemic in Kids) which aims to encourage parents to take their kids for more outdoor play to combat the rising rates of myopia in Singapore.

2. Kids Flix – Disney’s Planes: Fire and Rescue

Go on a date with your kids and watch Disney’s Planes: Fire and Rescue for $6 per ticket at selected GV cinemas on 14 Feb. Get a goodie bag with every ticket purchased, while stocks last. Free for kids below 90 cm. Get the show time and locations here

3. Playtime – The Magic Ocean
12 to 15 Feb
Esplanade Recital Studio

Go on an underwater adventure at The Magic Ocean. Swim with fishes great and small or crawl sideways with the friendly crab and starfish. Hide and play peek-a-boo in a large clam shell or peacefully glide through the sea with turtles. At this theatrical experience, children from two to four years old will be able to watch the wonder of the sea come alive.

4. SAF50@Vivo
12 to 15 Feb, 9 am and 9 pm

Get up close to the navy’s largest warship, the Landing Ship Tank RSS Endurance and experience what it is like to fly a fighter jet. From 12 to 15 February, find out more about the SAF and the role it plays at an exhibition to mark its 50th year. There will also be performances that include Naval Diving Unit Boat Physical Training, Precision Drills, along with music and dance performances.

5. Love is in the Air at Gardens by the Bay
14 Feb, Evening
Gardens by the Bay

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Gardens by the Bay with a movie screening and performances by local acts. End off the evening with a special Valentine’s Day fireworks display along with the Garden Rhapsody lightshow at the Supertree Grove.

6. Step Up Try Out – Free Trial at The Rock School
14 Feb
The Rock School

Specially for kids between six to 10-years-old, register for a special session on 14 Feb from 8 pm to 9 pm and get free rock climbing coaching. Email info@therockschool.sg to register.

7. Love Your Library Carnival – Choa Chu Kang Public Libray 18th Anniversary
14 Feb, 11 am to 2 pm
Choa Chu Kang Public Library

Join in the activities at the CCK library as it celebrate its anniversary with games in the library. You can even pen a Valentine’s Day wish for the library too.
