Yippee it’s the weekend! And with Mother’s Day approaching this Sunday, it’s a perfect opportunity for the whole family to spend quality time bonding over fun activities. Check out our picks of some of the highlights taking place.

2. West Coast Park with West Coast GRC & Pioneer Constituency Family Carnival & Movie Under the Stars

3. Saturdays@ACM: It’s May-hem!

Asian Civilisations Museum

Fancy being an archaeologist? Then head on down to the Asian Civilisations Museum, where kids can play make-believe by dressing up as one and enjoy activities like storytelling, museum tours and treasure-hunting in a ball pit.

4. Hideaways – Creating with Nature

Playeum, Children’s Centre for Creativity

Let your child explore and engage with nature and natural materials at this latest themed exhibition by Playeum. There are several interactive sections to discover, from a fluorescent-lit Creature Cave to craft and observation areas. Find out more.

5. SSO Classics in the Park: Mother’s Day Concert

8 May, 6 pm to 7 pm

Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage, Singapore Botanic Gardens

Enjoy this charming outdoor concert together with mum, as the SSO pays tribute to mothers with a medley of beautiful pieces. Afterwards, whip out the picnic mat and stay on for a screening of the movie Pixels under the stars.

 

6. Take part in Singapore Heritage Fest 2016

7. Rise & Shine Funanza

Get set for some fun and games at this indoor fitness carnival, designed to encourage kids to stay active. Highlights include obstacle course, skipping rope and hula hoop challenges, a Wii dance-off and and meet and greet with Pororo.

8. Golden Village Kids Flix – Winx Club: The Mystery of the Abyss
