3. Doctor Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat

One of the best-loved books by Dr Seuss, The Cat in the Hat, comes to life in this magically witty play by the SRT’s The Little Company. A great chance for kids to learn more about grammar, syntax, scansion, phonics, morality, ethics, tolerance and the human spirit.
4. Times Paragon Fun Fiesta For Kids

Keep young ones busy with fun, engaging activities at Times Paragon. From creative coloring and building blocks to craft activities and a storytelling session by Julia Gabriel. There are limited spaces available so do remember to register first. Details here.
5. Roald Dahl’s George’s Marvelous Medicine

Catch Roald Dahl’s hit story about a boy who cooks up the most fantastic concoction that not only changes his grumpy, ghastly Grandma but may just transform his family’s fortunes too. Presented by The Players Theatre.
6. Jewels in the Tale

I Theatre’s latest produciton, Jewels in the Tale, is a whole lot of fun, offering plenty of giggles for the kids and inside jokes for the adults – and everyone gets to take home a “jewel” or moral gem. 7. A 10-tastic Celebration
21 to 30 August
Skyline Luge Sentosa
It’s party time as Skyline Luge celebrates its 10th birthday with a carnival packed with treats from balloon sculpting and magic performances to games and popcorn. Head down between 2 pm and 6 pm on weekdays, 10.30 am to 2.30 pm on weekends.
8. Rise and Shine Festival 2015

Asia’s largest festival for kids is back. Take your pick from more than 50 kids’ workshops and over 100 FREE kids’ activities, explore a range of music, arts, sports and enrichment classes and check out the toy and book fair. There are also opportunities for little ones to meet their favourite cartoon and television characters.

Ever hear voices in your head? Disney Pixar’s new animation feature Inside Out opens the lid on what is really going on inside. Personally, it made us choke up a bit. Any other parents with slightly older kids out there that felt the same way after watching it?
