Here are our picks of the activities taking place this weekend, 29 and 30 March.

For those who enjoy the outdoors, head to the PA Paddlefest, organised by PA Water-Venture is taking place at Jurong Lake. Other than the dragon boating and kayaking competitions on the water, there is also a Carnival by the Lake during the two-day event.

Ready for a spot of shopping? Other than the flea markets taking place at theMarina Bay Sands Event Square and The Float @ Marina Bay Seating Gallery, the Red Cross will be holding their Red Cross Weekend Sale at the Red Cross Training Centre on both days.

Curious about the Arts? Head to Wessex Estate where artists will be opening up their studios to the Public as part of ArtWalk@Wessex. Laze about the Botanic Gardens and soak in the music at Showtime in the Gardens on Saturday and the NAC-ExxonMobil Concert on Sunday.

Earth Hour takes place this Sat, 29 March. To mark the occasion, a carnival and performances by live bands will held at The Float @ Marina Bay from 5 pm onwards. At 8.30 pm, the outdoor light exhibition, i Light Marina Bay, and 63 buildings around Marina Bay will go dim to observe the occasion while over at City Square Mall, a free screening of the cartoon “Epic” will be held to mark Earth Hour.
