2. Jewels in the Tale

A marvellous and mischievous production by I Theatre featuring folklore from around the region. Playfully presented with lively action, fun and exciting music, the multi-layered stories in Jewels in the Tale that will reintroduce you to stories from the region. 3. Singapore Airlines Light Up the Night Carnival 2015
22 to 23 Aug, 1 pm to 9 pm
F1 Pit Building, 1 Republic Boulevard
Stop by this carnival to see 40 supercars in a roving showcase, stunt driving performances and race simulators. Take on the F1 Pit Stop challenge or race a remote control car. There will be fringe activites, giant board games and movie screenings. FREE ADMISSION. Find out more.
4. Singapore Night Festival 2015

Light up the night at the two-weekend Singapore Night Festival. Catch art installations, street performances and even visit the museums and galleries till late. 5. Roald Dahl’s George’s Marvelous Medicine

Ulu Pandan CC Theatrette
Roald Dahl’s story about a boy who lives with his parents and concocts a medicine mixture with surprising effects comes to the stage at Ulu Pandan CC. Presented by The Players Theatre.

Skyline Luge Sentosa
Skyline Luge is holding a carnival with balloon sculpting stations, magic performances and popcorn to mark their 10th anniversary. Join them between 2 pm and 6 pm on weekdays, 10.30 am to 2.30 pm on weekends.
7. Voytek Proniewicz: Solo Violin Recital
22 August, 6.30 pm
Singapore Botanic Gardens
Enjoy a music concert at dusk. Presented by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, enjoy classic presented in this violin concert. While you are at Botanic Gardens, head over to the National Orchid Garden which has free admission for the month of August for Singapore Citizens and PRs.
8. S.E.A Aquarium: SEA Monsters
From 1 August
S.E.A Aquarium
Discover the sea monsters from the deep at the S.E.A Aquarium. On display are living fossils such as the Lungfish and Saddled Bichir, Arowanas and Aligator Gars, and models of ancient creatures.
