1. The Makers’ Festival

The Centrepoint
Celebrating creativity and handcraft, this inaugural festival is packed with workshops, tech demos, DIY activities, sessions with professional makers and a marketplace featuring local artisans and their wares. Learn more.

2. Tanjong Goodman Weekend Market Children’s Day Edition
22 & 23 Oct, 10 am to 6 pm
Goodman Arts Centre
This special edition sees a collaboration with another flea market, Five-And-Ten, to feature a greater variety of stalls offering assorted kids’ wares such as clothing, books and toys. On top of fun fringe activities, there are also performances and workshop taking place as part of this year’s Got to Move, the nationwide dance campaign organised by the National Arts Council. 3. Deepavali Festival Village

Don’t miss this annual highlight of Little India’s Deepavali celebrations. Browse among the numerous stalls offering a wide range of items, from traditional Indian clothing and accessories to home decor, trinkets, floral garlands, festive treats and more.
4. Safari Boo 2016
21-23 Oct & 28-30 Oct, 6 pm to 10 pm
River Safari
This merry-not-scary Halloween event is educational, entertaining and lots of fun for the whole family. Learn about weird creatures, go trick-or-treating, catch animal performances and be wowed by the newly added underwater musical performance by ‘mermaids’. Find out more.
5. Forest Adventure Kids Course Buddy Package

6. River Nights Festival 2016

Back for its third year, this edition is centred on the theme ‘Phantasmagoria’. Celebrating the Singapore River’s changing identity and history, visitors can look forward to a range of outdoor music, dance and theatrical performances. More info.
7. Singapore Armed Forces Ceremonial Band presents: Bandstand 4

Singapore Botanic Gardens
If you love military bands and popular music, be sure to catch this performance by the SAF Ceremonial Band, as they present a mix of familiar tunes from classics to pop. Pack along a picnic basket and have an evening out amongst the greenery as you enjoy the concert.
