Wan To Play has opened another indoor playground, this time in our beloved Changi Airport’s Terminal 3! Little Dino Playground is a vibrant, dinosaur-themed indoor play zone that would catch the eye of almost any child.
Wan To Play Little Dino Playground Opens at Changi Airport Terminal 3
Wan to Play clearly has experience in maximising space and creating fun-filled activities that children enjoy hanging out in, with its other outlets in Pasir Ris Mall, i12 Katong, West Coast Plaza, Kallang Leisure Park and Kinex Mall.
Little Dino Playground’s Role Play Corner and Pretend Play
One of the standout areas at Little Dino is the role play corner, filled with simple costumes and gear for children to dress up as firemen, police officers, army soldiers, and SWAT team members.
THIS WEEKEND: Unleash the Power of Stories for Kids with Workshops, Storytelling Session, Book Launches & More
This section was larger than that of other indoor playgrounds, and even had a toy police car for children to take role playing up a notch.
However, I do not like the idea of kids playing with toy guns, and definitely did not agree with the pretend prison. Children keeping ‘prisoners’ in prison saw some of them ‘scold’ pretend prisoners with their guns did not sit well with me.
The pretend car mechanic station was fantastic, and many parents were seen explaining the use of each tool and engaging the children to fix the cars, a great way for kids to explore basic concepts of engineering.
Some may think another unique factor was the electric toy car in the section which seemed initially like a great idea, but given the space constraints, people were busy avoiding being hit or rolled over.
Slide, Obstacle Course, and Ball Pit
The slide, obstacle course, and ball pit section is much more simplified compared to many other indoor playgrounds, but this did not seem to bother the children at all.
Several kids still loved the thrill of the three-lane slide and the ball pit, going for several rounds, especially the older children.
Pretend Cooking at the Cooking Station
The cooking station at Little Dino offers less than the other Wan to Play locations, with a much smaller setup and less props. That said, a few toddlers showed they enjoyed the quieter kitchen. Generally, fewer children seemed inclined to spending time there and chose to hang out at the role play section instead.
Bounce at the Trampoline Section
This section includes four smaller trampolines that are perfect for young kids. This makes it generally safer for younger children as older children can get quite excited and deters the younger ones from giving the trampoline a try.
Two Sand Pits for Sensory Play
One of the unique features at Little Dino is its two sand pits, which are filled with Wan To Play’s signature non-wooden bead gravel.
While the sandpits are not differentiated, one is made more exciting with a large triceratops skeleton that stretches across the whole pit, giving it an extra cool factor.
Having two separate sand pits is great for crowd control, spreading out children and giving them ample space to dig, build, and play.
It provides a less cramped environment compared to a single sandpit and ensures that kids can enjoy their time without feeling crowded.
Additional Dino Ride
The dinosaur that looks like a Dilophosaurus at the entrance stands at adult height. It is suitable for slightly older children, and available with a separate fee of $5.

Wan To Play at Little Dino Playground, Changi Airport T3?
Little Dino Playground is no different from most indoor playgrounds, but it is additionally a convenient hideout and waiting area for little ones at the airport, a great idea as you wait for loved ones to land. There were several families who hung out until their loved ones came with their luggage or after work, a very heartwarming sight to behold.
Bonus: Now to 12 May, combine your outing to Terminal 3 with a visit to Miffy playground and various Miffy activities for even more fun. What’s more, the Miffy pop-up stores are offering a ‘3 for $10’ sure win lucky dip for Miffy premiums such as water bottles, notebooks, keychains and even soft toys and sling bags.
If you enjoyed this story, we predict that you will enjoy this other one on things that kids can do around Changi Airport.
