Sharing is caring!

We were invited to journey with Thomas the train through a variety of movie-themed activities and a preview movie screening before Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! opens exclusively in Golden Village (GV) Cinemas on 30 August!

The Family Day event was based on Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! The Movie where Thomas the Tank Engine embarks on a fantastic trek across five colourful and vast continents!

Fun With Thomas & Friends

Fun with Thomas-Themed ActivitiesBefore the movie started, the kids got to enjoy different Thomas & Friends-themed fun stations. These included getting airbrush and glittery tattoos of Thomas and travel icons, a costumed photo booth with instant prints, crafts and colouring sheets, bean bags and balls tossing games and activities powered by MY GYM & ABRAKADOODLE. Adding to the excitement was a best dressed contest, quizzes and a lucky draw.

Craft activitiesThe kids loved selecting their choices of different glittering tattoos and simple striking crafts such as making their own Thomas the Tank Engine luggage tags, complete with googly eyes!

Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! – The Movie

The ultimate highlight of course, was catching the movie itself, while enjoying their freshly mixed sweet and salty popcorn treats and refreshing juices!

In Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! The Movie, we chugged along with Thomas across sand dunes, into mysterious jungles, over vast oceans, through massive canyons and around majestic rainbow and snowy mountains!

Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! The Movie is a simple yet heartwarming story about true friendship. Coupled with snappy songs during Thomas’ exciting adventures around the world, the movie was instantly appealing to the children.

Fun times for the kids at GV Family Movie EventOverall, it was a great GV Family Day experience for the kids with Thomas & Friends!
