Things to Do During The March 2019 School Holidays
For the Artsy
Arts in Your Neighbourhood takes place around Singapore from 7 to 24 March. Keep a look out for various interactive programmes and performances, particularly around the featured town of edition of this – Tampines. #BuySingLit, the movement which celebrates local authors, also has family-friendly programmes on the weekend of 16 and 17 March, including a street party.
Head to the theatre for a performance with the kids. Little ones will enjoy PLAYtime! The Dragon’s Dentist at Esplanade. Also check out Gretal and Hansel by SRT and the ice extravaganza, Disney on Ice.

Visiting the Attractions
Out and about at the attractions, Sentosa is having the Sentosa FunFest 2019 at Palawan Beach. Pay a visit for fun on the sand and photo moments with Sanrio characters. Speaking of cute characters, The World of tokidoki has landed at Changi Airport with a huge inflatable playground, complete with Unicorno slide.
KidsSTOP is holding its KidsSTOP Academy Activities Week and holding other Science-based activities during the holidays. Sesame Street celebrations are underway at Universal Studio Singapore while KidZania Singapore is holding KidZ & Heritage activities.
Rides and Games
The carnival is in town. Pay a visit the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival before it closes on 24 March to enjoy thrilling rides for all ages and family-friendly carnival games. Out of town, The Grandstand is having a Fun Fiesta carnival too! Over at Clarke Quay, the Singapore Festival of Fun is running from 14 to 24 March. This incorporates the Nickelodeon Fiesta which takes place on 23 to 24 March.
A special mention goes to the Maggie & Rose Family Members’ Club pop-up event at Forum the Shopping Mall. This new family club will be opening very soon – check out what it offers at this event from 19 to 24 March.
Academic Pursuits
The lull in the school term can also be a good opportunity to check out enrichment classes. Kumon is having free trials till 31 March. Eye Level Singapore is also offering diagnostic test and trial classes too. MindChamps PreSchool is running its Welcome Days for those who want to learn more about what it offers.
Looking ahead, you can also sign up for the upcoming Little Day Outing Treasure Hunt Under the Sea. Tickets are priced at just $15 for a family ticket!
