With the summer season approaching, The Marmalade Pantry is refreshing their delicious high-tea classics with bold flavours and playful twists that capture the spirit of summer. The Summer Revelry Afternoon Tea which is available from 12 May to 31 July 2025, includes citrus-infused cupcakes and the brand’s signature scones.
The high-tea set priced at $78, features a 3-tiered set up of both savoury and sweet treats, as well as a selection of jams and clotted cream. The set also includes 2 pots of artisanal tea of your choice, making it perfect for two to enjoy.
Savoury selections include the Chicken Cranberry Sandwich, Cucumber And Dill Cream Cheese Sandwich, Chicken Croquette, Smoked Eggplant On Sourdough Cracker, and Pancetta And Sweet Potato Quiche.

The sweet treats include the Berry Citrus Petite Cupcake, Red Velvet Whoopie Pie, Pistachio Cheesecake And The Golden Lemon Tart.
Not to be forgotten are The Marmalade Pantry’s signature scones made in-house, which can be paired with clotted cream, berry jam or ginger yuzu marmalade.
Highlights of the Summer Revelry Afternoon Tea Set
We got to try out the high-tea set, which was perfect afternoon snack.
The balance between the sweet and savoury treats, paired with the fruity teas that we selected helped to round off the meal.
We picked the Crunchy Apple and Muscat Grape tea flavours, which are the most popular flavours on the menu. The Muscat Grape was certainly a favourite for us, as we were able to taste the different floral notes and sweet grape flavours in the tea.
Starting off with the bottom savoury tier, some highlights include the Smoked Eggplant on Sourdough Cracker, which tasted like a mix of spices and chimmichuri, reminiscent of salsa.
The Cucumber And Dill Cream Cheese Sandwich was a surprisingly refreshing snack, contrasting that of the other richer flavours on the plate.
The Chicken Croquette was shaped and tasted quite like a meatball with a really crispy crust, making it a delicious snack without the mess.
Moving on to the sweet desserts, I particularly liked the golden lemon tart, which we initially mistook for a peanut butter themed tart due to its colour.
The zesty flavour of the lemon shines through its silky curd, which left me wishing for more. The pistachio cheesecake is particularly rich in flavour, and is extremely creamy.
I would suggest having that as soon as its served as the structural integrity of the cheesecake does not hold up very well for long.
Leaving the signature scones as last, I was particularly excited to try it with the 3 different spreads provided.
The scones were firm but easy to bite into, and the clotted cream made the scone taste like a biscuit with slight sweetness. The ginger yuzu marmalade is my favourite spread, with sweet tangy flavours of the yuzu and the ginger harmonising in every bite.
