I Theatre concludes their exciting line-up for 2016 with a very special production – THE MAGIC PAINTBRUSH! First produced in 2000, and now reworked and re-visioned for the 21st century, it’s a play that’s truly pure gold for the whole family!
Taking a well-known and well-loved Chinese folk tale, I Theatre has added a multitude of marvellous characters, stirred in a highly talented cast of established local actors and bright newcomers, then filled it up with a host of lively, memorable tunes, slapstick comedy, and just a dash of suspense. The Magic Paintbrush is a musical treat, where any child over the age of three can bring their parents and older brothers and sisters, aunties and uncles.
Marvelous music, puppets and lively action will enthral the youngest audience members, whilst a witty script will entertain grownups and older children.
To celebrate its 15th anniversary, I Theatre will be having a one-time only night performance on 5 November at 7:30 pm. On this special night only, they will be giving out goodie bags as a token of appreciation to friends and supporters. Just present your ticket to redeem.
