The Artground is an accessible art centre and play space
for children 0-12 years.

Throughout the year, we present different interactive art installations. On weekends, we run a variety of art related programmes.

The Artground – a curious place to be, is an accessible art centre and indoor play space for children aged 12 and under. Throughout the year, we present interactive art installations for children to climb through, over and under. This changes tri-annually.

1. Hullabaloo

From 30 August to 6 January 2019, we present Hullabaloo, an interactive art installation. In this smart-interactive playspace, spontaneous and self-directed play are encouraged through exploration.

2. Art-related Programmes over the Weekends

On the weekends, we run a variety of art-related 30 minute drop-in programmes that families and children can engage in together. These range from dance, music, storytelling to art & craft and gardening and are charged at $10 per parent-child. The weekend schedule changes week to week and patrons are encouraged to check our website to see what’s on.

3. Ticketed Events

Besides the 30 minute drop-in programmes, The Artground also runs other ticketed events such as Beyond Gardening, Baby Yoga and Baby Space (a multi- sensory performance for babies).

Baby Space

The Artground Baby SpaceFirst conceptualized in Sweden by Dalija Thelander, Baby Space has travelled around the globe before landing in Singapore’s The Artground. Presented in July 2017 and Jan 2018 to sold out runs, Baby Space is back again, enchanting the little ones in its signature white tent and soothing choreography and music.
We have just added new shows, so do join us in Baby Space and babies are encouraged to interact with the dancers and explore the installation after the performance. Find out more here.

4. The Good Garden

The Artground also features The Good Garden, a children’s urban food garden initiative by Cultivate Central for The Artground. This whimsical food garden cultivates food, artistic expressions and is a place to nurture a sense of what it means to help things grow and for children to connect with nature.

The Artground aims to provide non-directive play opportunities for children to discover and practice their motor skills as well as be a space where families can feel at ease to come to interact with the arts and our vision to let art do, what art does defines what we do.

The Artground is a registered arts charity. Entry into The Artground is free. Donations are encouraged.
