1. The SSCC Experience (Online)
Join the Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir (SSCC) for a two half-day online programme of choral music-making! Help your child discover his or her own voice with half-day workshops conducted by SSCC conductors. Participants will get a chance to experience a day in the life of an SSCC singer and be part of a Virtual Choir performance!
Please note that the repertoire may include some liturgical works.

Schedule
- Online programme in 2 half-day sessions. Participants can choose 1 session (morning or afternoon) to attend.
- Dates: 6 and 7 September 2021 (Monday and Tuesday)
- Morning session: 9 am to 1pm
- Afternoon session: 2 pm to 6 pm

2. SSCC Auditions (Online)
The Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir is inviting children to audition to join the choir this September 2021.
The Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir offers training and performance opportunities to children by developing their vocal technique, music literacy and musicianship, with an aim to help fledgling singers achieve their fullest musical potential.
Singing with the SSCC requires discipline and teamwork, which in turn fosters confidence, self-esteem, and helps develop important life skills. Besides their own concerts, the SSCC offers the extraordinary experience of performing monumental choral classics with the combined forces of the Singapore Symphony Choruses and Orchestra.

Important Dates
- Register by: 13 September 2021 (Monday), 6 pm
Submission includes an audition video and fee. - Live e-audition with the SSCC Panel (online): Sun 26 Sep 2021
Timeslots will be allocated via email after submission of the audition video, on first-come-first-served basis. There will not be any prior elimination of auditionees after the submission of the audition video; auditionees will be reviewed based on both their live e-audition and the audition video. A second audition date will be assigned if audition vacancies are filled.

Audition Details
- Fee: $25 per participant
- For children ages 8 (born 2013) to 14. Applicants who are 11 years and above will require a minimum of ABRSM (or equivalent) Music Theory Grade 3.
