From 7 to 10 August 2015, a 100-metre long, three-dimensional sand sculpture that chronicles Singapore’s transformation from a young nation to today’s metropolis will go on display at Sentosa’s Siloso Beach.

Dubbed The Sands of Time, the sculpture is part of Sentosa’s celebrations of Singapore’s Golden Jubilee.

Other activities taking place at Siloso Beach include interactive kiosks and kampong games where visitors can be entertained by challenges and games and a street market filled with local hawker fare at the beachside Sapphire Pavilion.

The Sentosa Merlion will also be awash with colour in vibrant light show from 1 to 30 August 2015. The light and sound show will be set against the Merlion’s façade and take place four times a night on weekdays with two additional shows on weekends, eve of Public Holidays and on Public Holidays.
