The annual Singapore Parenting Congress returns this year with a brand new theme – “Are you a SUPERHERO to your child?”. Held over two days at Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre, the in-depth dialogue sessions will discuss the importance of parenting of children aged 4–12 years, and dissect modern-day challenges that families and parents face.
Co-organised by Mediacorp and Families for Life, the Singapore Parenting Congress 2016 will feature local celebrity mum Diana Ser and Families for Life Council members, Jeff Cheong, Claire Nazar and Sarojini Padmanathan. Hear from local parenting experts, such as James Gary Satchy, Esther Lai, Chong Ee Jay, Dr Khoo Kim Choo and many more. With years of specialisation and experience in the fields of family life and early childhood, these speakers will delve deep into three main tracks, namely Active Parenting, Quality Time vs. Gadget Time, and Grandparenting.
Attendees can look forward to deep insights and best practices for holistic child development, where they will be able to learn how to instil values and life skills essential for a child’s future, as well as how to engage and connect with children more effectively in this digital age while cultivating healthy technology habits.
