Families with children can look forward to the first Singapore Botanic Gardens Children’s Festival held over two fun-filled weeks from 11 to 26 November 2017.

From performances to food and games, the festival has a host of activities lined up for children of all ages at the Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden and around the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Visitors will get a taste of the full range of educational programmes that the Gardens offers for children. These include fun activities where children can discover more about nature through play, craft, storytelling, investigations and walks. All Children’s Festival programmes are free of charge.

HIGHLIGHTS

Drinks and Desserts
Find out which plants are associated with our favourite drinks and desserts, and which parts of these plants provide the unique flavours, colours and smells for making these delicious treats. Explore and appreciate these natural ingredients.

Fragrant Plants – Excite Your Senses
Discover the amazing world of plants through the sense of smell. Participants will create their very own ‘fragrant’ plant craft. This programme is jointly organised by Singapore Botanic Gardens and Givaudan Singapore.

Ready, Set, Grow!
Participants will learn where our food comes from and how can we reduce our environmental footprint. They will also learn about growing their own food.
