Serangoon Sunshine Park is a small neighbourhood park, located along Serangoon Avenue 1, just beside St Gabriel’s Secondary School. One of the features of the leafy green space is the Serangoon Sunshine Park playground, which serves to provide kids with opportunities for play.

Serangoon Sunshine Park serves both the residents living in the HDB blocks along Serangoon Avenue 1 as well as the residents in the private residential area nearby.
Mature trees provide shade to various areas of the park, giving some relief from the sun even on bright and sunny days.

There is a red jogging path that goes around the park. This stretches out for around 250 metres, providing those who wish to a brisk walk or a jog with a path to follow.
The rest of the park is quite verdant, providing the neighbourhood with a nice green pocket.
Serangoon Sunshine Park also has a mini sheltered stage area at the centre of the park.
The park is especially popular with pet owners in the evenings – don’t be surprised to come across various paw parents walking their dogs.
Serangoon Sunshine Park Playground
One of the features that families with children will appreciate is the Serangoon Sunshine Park playground.
With a soft padded flooring, the playground beckons kids to come and play. Brightly coloured, the castle themed playground looks both cheery and inviting.
Kids can climb up a mini cliff face to reach one of the playground’s castle towers. This tower is connected to the next with an orange and red bridge.
Elsewhere, Serangoon Sunshine Park playground also has a colourful slide along with stepping stones and a set of monkey bars.
There is also a green climbing wall for kids to practise their bouldering skills while using gripping on to the handholds of the playground.
Kids can also play on a see-saw and bounce up and down while enjoying the outdoors.

There is no parking at Serangoon Sunshine Park as it is a neighbourhood park.
Serangoon Sunshine Park isn’t too far from Joji’s Diner, so you may wish to come down to the park for a walk after a meal at that popular 24 hour spot. It is also a short distance away from the NEX shopping mall, which has a nice outdoor playground on the rooftop for kids too!
