The September School Holidays 2016 may be a short one-week break, but it is a welcomed one before the final term of the Singapore school year.

September School Holidays 2016

Looking for activities to keep the kids occupied? There are live shows and meet-and-greets taking place around town. Get up close with the characters from Paw Patrol, along with Dora the Explorer, Pikachu and the Red Ranger. Even the mascots from KidsSTOP will be out-and-about to meet their fans.

Families can also choose from different children’s theatre shows during the September School holidays 2016. These include such classic tales such as Jack and the Beanstalk, Hansel and Gretel and The Three Little Pigs, together with new re-imaginings such as Little Star. Kids who are fans of the purple dinosaur can also look forward to seeing him perform his greatest hits too.

Holiday Outings

One major occasion taking place during the September School Holidays 2016 is the Mid-Autumn Festival. One must-catch display at Gardens by the Bay where different lantern displays will recount stories about the moon. This year, there is even a special app to accompany the display. In Chinatown, look out for LED lanterns above its historic streets and soak in the atmosphere at a festive market. Be sure to mark a date to bring the kids out for a lantern walkabout one of the coming evenings.
