Sharing is caring!

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) is bringing its Golden Jubilee celebrations to Jurong East, the fifth and final heartlands location!

At Jurong East, the public will witness for the first time, theCounter-Unmanned Aerial System demonstration. It will showcase how RSAF’s Force Protection Troopers respond to any unauthorised drones flying over military airbases, using the jammer gun and the drone catcher. The public can learn more about these capabilities that protect our airbases and ensure aviation safety. Catch them in action on both Saturday and Sunday at 11.30am and 2pm.

Other highlights at Jurong East include:

Simulators: Find out what it’s like to fly and take control of an RSAF aircraft – through flight simulators, Ground-Based Air Defence (RBS-70) simulators and a helicopter simulator at the exhibition site.

Static and Interactive Displays: Various RSAF assets and weapon systems such as the Hermes 450 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, and Ground-Based Air Defence systems like the I-Hawk and RBS-70 missile system will be on static display.  Visitors can also learn more about RSAF’s operations and capabilities through interactive displays such as the Enhanced Island Air Defence display.

Photobooth: Don the RSAF uniform, strike a pose and have your shot professionally taken at the RSAF photobooth.

RSAF50 Mural: Take your photo against various animated backgrounds and watch as it joins the RSAF50 Mural, a montage which will eventually comprise 50,000 photos.
