Southeast Asia’s first POMPOMPURIN Café opens Monday, 18 April, at Orchard Central, Singapore.
Themed after Sanrio’s adorable golden retriever dog character with a signature brown beret, patrons at the new 1,900 square foot café can expect all things POMPOMPURIN at the café, including cutesy food-and-beverage choices and character merchandise.
Internationally, each POMPOMPURIN café follows a different theme based on the local culture. The POMPOMPURIN café in Singapore is based on the theme, ‘Garden City’.
Within the café, patrons will find a POMPOMPURIN & Friends tree, green plants and Purin wallpaper, cutlery and table mats. The café has a seating capacity for 78 persons and four 4-seater booths, each featuring one of Purin’s friends – Bagel the Squirrel, Coconut the Monkey, Mint the Frog and Macaroon the Golden Retriever.

On the menu are a selection of visually appealing POMPOMPURIN-inspired main dishes, set meals, desserts and beverages. These include favourites such as Spaghetti Napolitana ($26.99), Mushroom & Bacon Carbonara ($26.99) and POMPOMPURIN’s Beef Stroganoff ($18.99).
Those with a sweet tooth can sample desserts such as POMPOMPURIN’s Banana & Caramel Pancake ($16.99) and I am Purin Pompompurin Pudding ($9.99).
Diners who order menu items marked with a POMPOMPURIN mug logo will receive a complimentary POMPOMPURIN mug at the end of the meal.
Also on sale at the POMPOMPURIN Café is merchandise ranging from seat cushions to water tumblers and plush toys.
The are five other POMPOMPURIN café outlets in Asia, three in Japan and one each in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
