Learn about the heritage and culture of the Peranakans, or Straits-born communities, at the Peranakan Museum. There are also regular activities held every month for kids and families.
Housed in the former Tao Nan Chinese School building, the Peranakan Museum is laid out over three floors to showcase the culture of the Peranakans or Straits-born communities. In addition to its regular exhibits, the Museum runs the Straits Family Sunday every second Sunday of the month with special activities for kids and families. This drop-in programme includes craft activities and tours that explore different themes of the Peranakan culture.
