What to Do at Paradigm Mall in Johor Bahru with Kids
Paradigm Mall in Johor Bahru opened in November 2017. So it isn’t too old but not the newest mall in JB either.
With seven floors of retail space, it is one of the largest malls you will come across in Johor Bahru and even has hotels attached to it.

It is home to brands for shopping such as the Parkson department store, as well as Japanese home furnishing store Nitori.

Kid-friendly Stores and Activities at Paradigm Mall
Whether your kids are just toddlers, or they are older and pushing into tweenhood, you will be able to find different things to do at Paradigm Mall to suit different ages.
ESCAPE Adventure Course
One of the most striking things that you will notice is Paradigm Mall are all the ropes and obstacles strung out across the voids and between the floors. This is the ESCAPE adventure course where you can experience taking a controlled leap from one floor to another or zipping across the atrium like Indiana Jones. It is not for the faint of heart but daring kids will find it thrilling.
For less adventurous ones, there are also rope obstacle courses that don’t involve being suspended in mid-air that they can try too.

Pinkfong Baby Shark Adventure Ville
Located together with Toy World Amusement on Level 2 is the pinkfong Baby Shark Adventure Ville indoor playground at Paradigm Mall. There is a row of climbing frames that kids can enjoy along with a huge ball pit that all the slides seem to lead to. We liked that it is bright and cheery. There are also arcade machines located just next to the indoor playground area.

Utopia Jungle World
Paradigm Mall is so large that it can support multiple indoor playgrounds. Utopia Jungle World offers a variety of play areas including a kinetic sand pit, soft bricks, knitted nets and, of course, climbing frames too. Read more about Utopia Jungle World indoor playground.

Hippopo
Babies can enjoy floating in water, or hydrotherapy as it is called, at Hippopo, a baby spa.

VR + Zone
Do you have a tween or teen who loves playing games? How about playing a game in virtual reality – and join them too! VR + Zone is an entertainment outlet that lets you do just that. And there are bunch of shoot ’em up type of games to choose from. Want to think how you and your teen would do in a zombie apocalypse? Take on the challenge here.

Daruma
You will feel as if you have stepped into gachapon heaven at Daruma. Fans of capsule toys will have heaps of machines to choose from at this and can try their luck collecting cute colourful figures as well as seasonal toys.

Blue Ice Skating Rink
Looking for something active to do? Paradigm Mall is home to the Blue Ice Skating Rink. You can pay for entry (which includes a pair of skates) and get on the ice for a while. Not familiar with skating? You can get a seal skating aid to help you find your skating legs. There are five two-hour sessions per day.

Stars Archery
For something out of the ordinary? How about trying archery? Stars Archery is an indoor archery range where you can do your best Robin Hood impression with a bow and arrows. Kiddy Rides by Love Baby Kids Like Trading
Kids can hop into one of the electric ride-on vehicles offered by Love Baby Kids Like Trading on Level 4. If they have ever dreamt of driving about in a fire engine or jeep, this is their chance to do so. There are even kiddy motorbikes available. There are two sizes of rides: Small and Big. The Small rides cost RM30 for 20 minutes and the Big rides cost RM35 for 20 minutes! Just be prepared to walk behind them as they drive all around.

Paintcasso
If your child prefers doing crafts, Paintcasso at Level 4 has different activities that they can do. They make their own plushie, build a mini house and more.

There are also other Paradigm Mall shops that will appeal to visitors. You can catch a movie at the mall or head to the arcade or shop for toys. Plus, the multitude of food and dining options means that you are spoilt for choice to satisfy hungry tummies.
