New Art Museum Singapore
Located on Level 5 of the same industrial building as the Singapore Art Museum, the New Art Museum opened back on 14 October 2023 at the Tanjong Pagar Distripark.
It shares the floor with Whitestone Gallery Singapore, its sister art space, and was designed by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, the world-renowned architect who designed the Tokyo Olympic Stadium as well as Singapore Founders’ Memorial.

From 5 April to 26 July 2025, the New Art Museum is holding a ticketed interactive museum experience, Wonders of Nature.
Step into the gallery and rediscover childlike wonder. The exhibition draws inspiration from children’s first encounters with animals at the zoo. Its various displays aim to invoke curiosity through its various artworks that can be found in various mediums.
There are artworks that feature nature and animals.
One set of artworks that intrigued us was various familiar animals including horses, turtles, tigers and chickens. However, look a bit closer and you will find that there are hidden details in them of urban landscapes.
ART-ZOO’s Canyon of Cuddles
One of the spaces at the New Art Museum’s Wonders of Nature is the Canyon of Cuddles. This features inflatables works by Jackson Tan of ART-ZOO fame. The cactus inflatables look cute and have the typical ART-ZOO style.
There is also a ball pit. And inside the ball pit, visitors to the exhibition can look for the Cactus Cuddle ball which is placed there once a day. Find it to get a free ART-ZOO gachapon spin.
Ancient Aquarium
Then venture into the depths of the ocean at Masato Inagaki and Go Ogawa’s Ancient Aquarium.
The digital installation features an ancient marine ecosystem that encourages reflection oin the relationship between humans and nature.
Garden of Senses
Yayoi Kusama and Jesse Franklin’s Garden of Senses is a small, contemplative space.
Here, you can also try out a digital game designed by Franklin and race against the clock in search of tiger scrolls hidden in an imaginary landscape inspired by Kusama’s iconic artworks.
Obliteration Room
End your journey the Wonders of Nature exhibition at the New Art Museum at the Obliteration Room. Grab stickers and create your own dot-filled work on the white canvas of the room.
Wonders of Nature Exhibition
Wonders of Nature is a paid exhibition. Entry fees are $18 per person. Kids 7 years old and under enter for free.
Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 11 am to 7pm. It is closed on Mondays & Public Holidays.
