Looking forward to 2021? So are we. Ministry of Education (MOE) has just released the 2021 School Holidays and Term Dates and while it may be too soon to make any plans for next year, it is still nice to think ahead.

The Singapore school year for 2021 for all MOE primary and secondary school will commence on Monday, 4 January 2021 and end on Friday, 19 November 2021.


MOE School Term Dates 2021

These are the school term dates 2021 for primary and secondary schools:

Term 1: 4 January to 12 March 2021
Term 2: 22 March to 28 May 2021
Term 3: 28 June to 3 September 2021
Term 4: 13 September to 19 November 2021

MOE School Holidays 2021

For those looking forward to the school holidays 2021, the vacation dates for primary and secondary schools are as follows:

March School Holidays 2021: 13 March to 21 March 2021
Mid-Year School Holidays 2021: 29 May to 27 June 2021
September School Holidays 2021: 4 September to 12 September 2021
End of Year School Holidays 2021: 20 November to 31 December 2021


4 Scheduled School Holidays for 2021

There are also four scheduled school holidays for 2021. These are:

Youth Day: Sunday, 4 July 2021. As Youth Day 2021 falls on a Sunday, the following Monday, 5 July 2021 will be scheduled school holiday.
Day after National Day: Tuesday, 10 August 2021
Teachers’ Day: Friday, 3 September 2021
Children’s Day (for primary schools only): Friday, 8 October 2021
