Living Worlds at Science Centre Singapore

The exhibition at Science Centre Singapore’s Annexe, which runs till March 2020, explores the interdependent relationship between animals and the environments they inhabit. It also provides a glimpse into what it takes to capture footage which gets delivered onto the screens of nature lovers everywhere.

The Living Worlds: An Animal Planet Experience exhibition takes visitors to three completely different habitats – the rainforest, the blue ocean and the white arctic.

Into the Forest

Into the Forest HabitatHere, visitors can learn about life amongst the forest canopy and the quest by film-makers to capture forest animals on camera.

There are interactive elements found within this section of Living Worlds.

Plunge into the Blue Ocean

OceansFrom the wilds of the forest, dive into life under the waves.

Into the BlueThe most impressive exhibit here is Into the Blue, a show shown on a domed projection screen. It feels like an omni-max theatre for one.

Other interactive elements include a wall where visitors can help to “re-populate” the reefs.

The White Arctic

There is nowhere else where the effects of climate change are felt most prevalently than the Arctic.

Animal residents of the northGet to meet the animal residents of the north and learn more about them.

Interactive gameVisitors can also play an interactive game to try to help a polar bear make its way across the ice fields to reach his fishing grounds.
