A long, LONG time ago, there lived a Big Mama Frog and her son, Chung Kayguri, the Little Green Frog. Whatever Big Mama Frog would say, Little Green Frog would do exactly the opposite, which greatly hurt her feelings. Little Green Frog just laughed, and said, “I will do whatever I want, my way. Whatever you tell me, I will surely do the opposite.” Even his riverside friends could not persuade him to behave.
Then one day, Little Green Frog’s disobedience lands him in BIG trouble, and he realises that maybe he should have obeyed his Mama all along… but is it too late?
First presented in 2009 with over 50 SOLD OUT performances, this wonderful Korean story, carefully adapted using child-friendly themes, and with a slightly gentler ending than the original tale, is brought to life using interaction and catchy songs, puppetry, live action, music and fun to help us realise that wise words are worth listening to!
Creative: Written and Directed by Brian Seward. Music composed by Bang Wenfu.
Recommendation: Most suitable for children from 3 to 8 years old and families
