The March school holidays 2018 may be a short one, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t many things to do. Quite the opposite, the week-long term vacation break is packed full of events and activities.
March 2018 School Holiday Activities
Kick off the school holidays by celebrating the love of Singapore literature.
Go on a book hunt in the library, participate in storytelling sessions or simply go out and get a new book by a local author. There are so many ways to celebrate Singapore literature and support the #BuySingLit movement!
Fun in the Sun
The holidays are the perfect time to spend some time by the beach and have some fun. Sentosa FunFest 2018 with We Bare Bears offers exactly that. Enjoy an inflatable playground at the beach and hang out with Grizz, Panda and Ice Bear from the Cartoon Network series at the same time.
Plus, there are plenty of other fun things to do around Sentosa too. Look out for a BBQ at the Beach and free movie screenings as well. And, admission to Sentosa is free during the March school holidays too!
Other inflatable fun around Singapore includes Sesame Street at Changi Airport and the Art-Zoo Inflatable Park, one of the festival hubs of i Light Marina Bay.
On the weekend of 16 to 18 March 2018, pay a visit to SmartKids Asia 2018 at Singapore Expo Hall 6. This year’s event includes a new Sensory Art Trail, Safe Cycle Zone, activity area and more.
If you are looking for classes to keep the kids occupied during the holidays, you may also wish to find out more about the holiday camps and workshops being offered by Discovery Camps and MindChamps. These cover both academic-related topics as well as other areas of interest such as robotics, coding and values.
