There’s something for everyone in the family and highlights include:
Drum-A-Story with Louis Soliano: Experience storytelling like never before with 2018 Cultural Medallion recipient Louis Soliano, one of Singapore’s most celebrated jazz drummers. Explore how rhythmic expression can bring a story to life. This ticketed workshop ($10 per pax) is suitable for families with children aged 7 and above.
The Arts House Story Tour: Join this education tour of The Arts House to learn the history behind Singapore’s oldest government building. This ticketed tour ($5 for a parent-child pair) is suitable for families with children aged 5 and above.
Bimbang and the Curios Trunk: This storytelling performance involves music and puppetry and the audience will get hands in creating a music piece that features the 3 main cultural instruments of Singapore. This performance is free with registration.
Monster Parade: Unleash your inner monster with resident monster Britney. Don your handmade masks, costume and upcycled musical instruments and join the buzz. This free event is suitable for families with children aged 3 to 12.
The Cultural Medallion Literary Pursuit: Since knowledge is treasure and wisdom is gold, join in this pursuit to hut for all things literary about our Cultural Medallion recipients. This free activity is suitable for families with children aged 7 and above.
