A must-do for kids during the Mid-Autumn Festival is an evening with lantern in hand. You can organise your own intimate lantern outing or join in one of the mass lantern walks in Singapore 2019 with others. Both can be equally fun for kids (who we suspect are just happy to stay up past bedtime).

Spend an evening out in Chinatown at one of the most popular lantern walks in Singapore 2019. This evening stroll starts from Kreta Ayer Square and ends along New Bridge Road. Not only can you enjoy the Mid-Autumn light-up around Singapore’s Chinatown but the lantern walk will end at the Main Stage where there will be performances to enliven the evening. This heritage trail is organised by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre as part of its Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations. This is a ticketed event conducted in English and Mandarin.
