Vroom, vroom! It’s time for kids to go racing about in a mini electric go kart at KF Kiddy Circuit at Mid Valley Southkey Mall in Johor Bahru.
Located at the Third Mezzanine floor at the popular mall, KF Kiddy Circuit is a fun, indoor driving adventure and it manages to pack a lot of punch into a mall play space.

The KF Kiddy Circuit is 200 metres in length (half the size of a running track) and it has a total of 12 corners for non-stop steering action.
Starting from the pit where kids will get into the go karts, the course makes a 90-degree left turn before turning left again into a chicane. Then it incorporates several more turns, including right turns, before it winds up to a hairpin turn on the penultimate bend to complete the loop.
We like that it offers a variety of turns and bends – drivers will have to pay attention throughout the course and have plenty of fun navigating around the KF Kiddy Circuit at Mid Valley Southkey’s well laid out course.
Space and Dinosaur Themed Zones at the Go Karting Circuit
Did we mention that the KF Kiddy Circuit course is themed as well?
When kids first start off, they will go on a ride into space with the moon suspended up above them and a futuristic city in the distance. Watch out for the UFO above too!
The planets then give way to the dinosaur themed section. Drive past the towering sauropod and zip past the mighty T-rex found standing amidst verdant vegetation.
There is a yellow-coloured light tunnel. Inside the LED lights add to the sense of speed as kids fly past towards the last few corners of the KF Kiddy Circuit.
Who Can Drive?
In case you are wondering how fast the electric go karts can go, they are set to reach a maximum of 8 km/h. The go karts are easy to operate and kids can get the hang of them quickly. Kids will be eager to strap in and take the go karts out for a drive.
Take note that kids need to be at least 100 cm to drive the electric go karts on their own at KF Kiddy Circuit at Mid Valley Southkey. Parents can choose to ride along with them if they want to.
Kids who are below 100 cm can also enjoy the electric go karts but they must be accompanied by an adult.
Additional Pointers for KF Kiddy Circuit
What we also appreciated about the KF Kiddy Circuit was that there was a space for parents and care givers to wait for the young drivers to complete their rounds. This space has plenty of seating spots – something that parents will most definitely be thankful for. The seating area is also a good spot to watch as the kids go past in the go karts.
There is also a screen with videos at one end to keep really young kids who may not be able ride on the go karts entertained.
Here is an additional tip. If you want to get a nice photo of your kids driving past the dinosaurs, there is a “look in” point close to that themed area.
Each ride session at KF Kiddy Circuit lasts eight minutes and you can also purchase three-ride combos in case one session is just not enough.
KF Kiddy Circuit also does kids birthday parties for up to 25 kids.
