Explore different types of play at the Keat Hong Verge playground. The children’s play space, by playground provider CT Art, features a bird nest playground with a variety of structures that resemble the hanging nests that are created by weaver birds.
Keat Hong Verge Bird Nest Playground
The main Keat Hong Verge playground is made up of three pods that have been designed to resemble the type of nests that hang down from the trees. These brown pods are elevated off the ground, giving them the look of being suspended as they would be in nature.

The three bird’s next rise in elevation with the next being higher than the previous one. Kids can climb into the first deck, and if they are feeling adventurous, move on to the next one.
A hanging netted bridge interconnects the two highest birds nests and while elevated flower steppers link the lower two decks.
There are also ample climbing opportunities in the form of red disks slung underneath the rope bridge. Here, kids can imagine they are fluttering back and forth the bird’s nest pods.
No playground would be complete without slides. At the Keat Hong Verge playground, each of the pods has a green slide that kids can use to enjoy some breeze as they slide down. The longest of the slides is the tube slide from the highest bird’s nest deck which does a swirl before reaching the ground.
In addition, there are also little hammock swings fitted under the pods where kids can sway about for more fun!
There is also a see-saw at the playground.
The Bird Nest Playground at Keat Hong Verge is designed for children ages 6 to 12 years old.
Playground for Younger Kids at Keat Hong Verge
Younger children have a separate playground at Keat Hong Verge that they can enjoy. Located a short distance, the playground for younger kids is lower and has a jungle forest treehouse theme.
There is a lower platform along with a bridge that they can explore.
Orange and green steppers will give their balancing skills some challenge.
There is also a springy see-saw that can accommodate up to four kids at a time. Rather interestingly, each child has their own individual seat and they can bounce up and down while at play.
