Highlights of Jurassic World in Singapore

Brachiosaurus Falls

Brachiosaurus Falls

An 8.5 metre tall Brachiosaurus greets you when you first enter into Cloud Forest. It is one of two Brachiosaurus at the Cloud Forest’s iconic waterfall.

The taller one is almost three storeys high and these gentle plant-loving giants can be found nestled amongst the ferns – some of the Earth’s earliest plants – by the entrance of the Cloud Forest.

When evening falls, Brachiosaurus Falls transforms with soft lights while distant melodious calls give it a a magical and surreal atmosphere.

Encounter the T-Rex

Encounter the T-Rex

There’s some movement in the foliage ahead! Gates flash with strobe lights and alerts blare. It is none other than the king of the dinosaurs!

The king of the dinosaurs is undisputably the Tyrannosaurus Rex that will be found at Cloud Forest.

The ferocious, animatronic Tyrannosaurus is huge and menacing. It has breached the shattered fence, prowling among palm-like trees with thick trunks and spiky leaves called cycads once growing all over the land during the dinosaur age.

Interact with Baby Dinosaurs in the Petting Zoo

Interact with Baby Dinosaurs in the Petting Zoo

A chance to pet dinosaurs? Little ones might flock to this encounter since the baby versions of the dinosaurs are irresistible. Visitors can meet a few baby dinosaurs like baby Velociraptors, baby Stygilomoch and more. They blink and respond to touch too. Do listen to the rangers as they share more facts about the baby dinos to visitors.

Discover “Compys”

Discover “Compys”

Keep your eyes peeled, there are creatures hiding within the lush garden pathways! Discover the tiny and elusive Composognathus in the foliage. Listen out for iconic audio excerpts from the Jurassic World films.

Aviary Attack

Aviary Attack

Look above and spot a cunning pair of velociraptors poised for attack in a primal showdown against a hovering Pteranodon. The Cloud Forest becomes the perfect backdrop for this dino-drama. There are many vantage points to view this, from ground level, Lost World at Level 7 and Tree Top Walk.

Evolution walk: Exclusive to Cloud Forest

Evolution walk: Exclusive to Cloud Forest

Did you know that the Cloud Forest replicates the cool-moist climate found in Tropical Montane regions in the world, between 1,000 metres and 3,500 metres above sea level? This cool environment makes it possible for more than 72,000 plants to thrive in Cloud Forest, with more than 50 species with lineages traced back to the Jurassic period.

Visitors can see ferns, cycads, conifers, examples for species that lived since the age of dinosaurs. Visit Jurassic World at Cloud Forest to learn more about how plants continue to thrive today, and understand the intricate connections between past and present ecosystems.

Venture to Evolution Walk, where visitors can learn about ancient plant species that existed before those that bear flowers. The experience is exclusive to Cloud Forest and features 3D reconstructions of ancient plants, now extinct, in an eye-opening showcase of the evolution of plants.

Stiggy Truck

Stiggy Truck

After walking through Evolution Walk, visitors chance upon a truck that has crashed into the dense foliage. The truck vibrates and then a Stygimoloch emerges, perhaps anxious about freeing itself.

Brachiosaurus Encounter

Brachiosaurus Encounter

A gentle giant is what describes one of the most iconic dinosaurs – the Brachiosaurus. Get up close to the herbivore and look up as it towers above everyone. Its long neck sways gently, peering out of a grove of ancient conifers.

Prehistoric Grove

Listen out for a reminiscent melody – an arrangement inspired by Jurassic World’s iconic soundtrack played on instruments that sound almost organic like the forest itself is singing.

Creation Cavern

The Hatchery

See dinosaur eggs being incubated at Creation Cavern. Visitors can use the digital interactive panels to find out about 5 kinds of dinosaur eggs and what the embryo is likely to be like, and more information about ideal incubation environment.

Right next to the eggs are three very young Parasaurolophus in deep sleep. You might see them stir and blink!

Jurassic World Gate and Photo Op

Jurassic World Gate and Photo Op

Here’s where you enter the iconic Jurassic World Gate that also heralds the beginning of an adventure (or a nightmare) in the movies. Time to strike a pose and pretend you are venturing into a forgotten facility.

Beyond the gate is where visitors can get up close to the towering Brachiosaurus.

Before you enter the gate, do seize the opportunity to take a photo with different animated backgrounds along with exclusive digital reels as forever keepsakes.

Dilophosaurus Ambush

Dilophosaurus Ambush

Be prepared for an attack by Dilophosaurus! These nasty creatures seen in the Jurassic World movies as “jumpscare” dinosaurs are amongst toppled crates and open cages. Have they just escaped? They have got spitting “venom” and shrill cries and rattles that scare. Don’t go too close!

Meet Velociraptors, Wait One of Them is Missing!

Meet Velociraptors, Wait One of Them is Missing!

Meet a few raptors – that seem to be sedated and bound. Are we really safe? While other raptors are in their paddocks, one is not like the rest! Visitors will get to meet Blue – an intelligent velociraptor that has been trained!

Our Little Day Out at Jurassic World: The Experience, Cloud Forest

It seems surreal to be able to step into the age of dinosaurs in Singapore. The experience was well-designed and it was a treat for everyone to “bathe” in the light of the setting sun, the lush foliage and the intricately-designed animatronics.

For the ones who grew up with Jurassic Park as a core childhood memory, Jurassic World at Cloud Forest is perhaps one way to make memories with the younger generations. We might never be able to step into the movie set, but it is entirely possible to feel like you have entered the mysterious world of the dinosaurs in real time lost in the fogginess of the prehistoric age.
