Exclusive to the Geneo outlet is a brand-new JUWARI SOBA series, made with 100% Hokkaido buckwheat flour that is stone-ground, and made fresh in-store daily.
This soba is also gluten-free, nutrient-dense and rich in protein, dietary fibre and antioxidants.
Served with a dashi broth crafted from a special blend of ingredients to deliver smoky depth and rich umami flavour, the Nanban Juwari Soba is available with a choice of Chicken, Kamo (duck), Beef or Pork toppings, offering a deeply satisfying soba experience.
Other options include the cold soba series like the Zaru Soba, Oroshi Soba and Ontama Bukkake Soba. Complete the soba experience with Soba Yu, a nutritious water from boiled soba noodles. Enjoy it on its own or mix it with leftover dipping sauce for a warm, comforting broth.
What’s on the Idaten Udon Noodle Menu
Those desire the classics will appreciate the Classic Udon. Niku Udon comes in Pork, Chicken or Beef while the simplicity is spooned up with the Kake Udon and Kitsune Udon.
Lovers of dry udon can enjoy their noodles without the broth with the Ontama Bukkake Udon or Zaru Udon.
Idaten Udon’s menu include items such as the Garlic Chicken Maze Udon and Mentai Carbonara Udon Chicken.
Other favourites include the Pork Kimchi Udon, Kinoko Pork Udon and Pork Kimchi Don.
For those who love something hearty and beefy, there is the Beef Sukiyaki Don, while chicken and prawns tempt with the Mentai Chicken Katsu Don and Mentai Carbonara Ebi Udon respectively.
Curry-lovers can try the FOND DE VEAU CURRY, a Japanese fusion curry with a blend of various vegetables, fruits, spices and dashi.
Classic Curry Udon lets the best of noodles and curry shine on their own while the Niku Curry Udon lets you top things off with your choice of Pork, Crispy Chicken, Beef or Menchi Katsu
Tempura to Complete the Meal
Pair your main with a variety of crispy golden tempura to add to the indulgence.
Tempura options include Cream Croquette ($3.30), Crispy Chicken and Deep-Fried Chicken Gyoza.
For a taste of seafood, add Deep Fried Squid ($3.80), Jumbo Kani Tempura ($2.80), Jumbo Kakiage and Jumbo Prawn Tempura ($4.30) to your plate.

Experience at Idaten Udon
We paid Idaten Udon at Geneo Mall a visit for lunch.
Stepping inside and joining the queue, we first came up to the drinks refrigerator where we could pick out a drink. The ordering process is cafeteria style. We had to place our order for the choice of noodles at the first station.
After receiving our noodles, we then proceeded along to the tempura counter where the choice of tempura were laid out in trays for us to pick out.
Then, the next station was to make payment for the meal.
A final stop was at the condiments counter to get the tempura sauce and any other garnishes we wanted. The tempura bits are always tempting as they add a touch of crunch to the meal.
The seating area within the Idaten Undon at Geneo Mall is not very large – so arrive early if you want to secure a seat.
