From 4 to 25 June, join I Can Read’s June Holiday programmes for ages 5 to 10 where four distinct programmes await eager learners.
For 5- to 6-year-olds, Beat Boppers is where music meets literacy in a fun and engaging way. The preschoolers will romp through rhythms with claps and snaps to build essential phonemic awareness and foundational reading and writing skills as they make instruments, practise lyrical reading and more.
6- to 9-year-olds will go on Tech Adventures to explore, read and code. The junior coders (6-7 years old) will learn Scratch Jr, create animations, tell stories and solve fun challenges while improving their reading and thinking skills. Sign up for Academia’s focused programmes this June school holidays. Ranging from 2-day workshops to 3-day symposiums, these programmes are designed to help students tackle the most challenging areas of the English syllabus, especially in writing. Younger students will learn about the key elements of a compelling story – from characters and settings to plot, conflict, and resolution – building their foundation and preparing them for composition writing. Lil Palette will also be hosting Giulia Bernadelli from Italy for a week of ArtxFood themed camp. Known for transforming coffee spills, crumbs, and sauces into breathtaking works of art, Giulia will be hosting a week-long June holiday camp in celebration of creativity and cuisine.
Children will work with the shapes, colors and textures of vegetables, to compose artworks. One day will be dedicated entirely to painting with coffee.
