For over 150 years, Singapore Botanic Gardens has been the birth place of South East Asia’s rubber and orchid industries. A walk through the re-developed Tanglin/Heritage Core of the Gardens will evoke memories of bygone days where ladies stroll through the Gardens with the parasols and long skirts. Highlights of the tour include the Bandstand, sculptures in the Gardens, the Heritage Trees, the Main Gate, the Saraca Stream Walk.
Tour is in English only and registration is required (Visitor Services Desk, Tanglin Gate) 15min before the scheduled tour. There is only one session at 9am.
This tour repeats every 4th Saturday of the month.
Open to all.
